INSTALLATION

Installing the Gem+ update
Manually COPY the GEMP2.exe update ( to Program files/GPLSecrets/Gem+ ) to overwrite the previous version ( or remove the previous version to storage ) which will update Gem+ to version 2.5.32.

This Gem+ update is essential for the 67 Patch to work.

Installing the 67 Patch
1/ Run the 67 Patch installer. Check the install path. The default install path is C:\Sierra\GPL.

IF YOUR GPL INSTALL HAS A DIFFERENT PATH YOU MUST CHANGE THE PATH WHEN PROMPTED.

2/Remove the gplc67.exe from your gpl folder.

3/Start Gem+ and hit the gpl button or exit Gem+ to create a new patched gplc67.exe

A note to those running any kind of 60fps patch.

The 67Patch and all other mod patches ( 65,66,69 ) produced by the GPL MODS TEAM were designed to work with gpl running at 36fps.
We cannot predict what effect 60fps will have on the patches/code the mods team have produced.

We test our mods/patches extensively in private before public release. But as far as I know, no one in our team tested them with 60fps because the 60fps patches are released as public betas with new and different versions following shortly thereafter.
Under these circumstances it is not practical for us to test 60fps with anything we produce because although it may work with one version of 60fps, it may not work with another or the next version of 60fps to be released.

I am sure brr will make his 60fps patches compatible with the 65Patch , 66Patch, 67Patch, 69Patch. So if you have a 60fps problem please direct it to brr in one of the 60fps threads. Or send him a PM.

thanks

paul
